Kelly Jade is an admired visual artist, dangerous sculptor, and part-time writer. Having somehow lost the circus she was travelling with as a child she continues to embrace clown attire in the hope of being found.
Among Kelly’s eclectic likes are: avocados, undesirable hats, philosophy, roller-skating, spots, stripes, circuses, dotty cookies and Sherlock Holmes. She admits to going weak at the knees at the sound of old men’s voices (indeed).
Having regularly contributed her Uninspiring short stories to literary magazines, she is now bringing out her first collection, aptly entitled ‘A Collection of Uninspiring Short Stories’, through Blunt Trauma Press in 2012 and an all new exhibition of her latest paintings and other artworks will be sure to follow.
Self-taught across the artistic palette of disciplines, Kelly Jade is currently pursuing her horticultural dream of protecting seedlings from the harsh realities of adulthood.
